Ryan Stultz
Ryan works with newsrooms on sustainable audience growth strategies and developing alternative monetization streams for long-term success. Before joining the American Journalism Project, Ryan was managing editor of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, leading audience, programming, print and quality control. He led a major expansion of the audience for the AJC, including strategy and execution on multiple new verticals and tentpole projects. Prior to that, Ryan ran the Revenue Content Team at the AJC, where he oversaw sponsorship, premium digital advertising, the Content Studio and launched Access Atlanta, a social-first, advertising-driven vertical.
Before the AJC, Ryan was based in Beirut, working at The Daily Star and StepFeed.
Ryan, his husband and daughter live in Atlanta. When they’re not working, they are most likely cooking or planning their next trip.
