Amber stewards a portfolio of supporters and funders of the American Journalism Project and forges new relationships to build AJP’s visibility, impact and financial resources.
She has more than ten years of experience in growing the sustainability of nonprofit newsrooms. Previously, she led individual giving and reader engagement initiatives at Bridge Michigan and BridgeDetroit, two local nonprofit newsrooms serving the state of Michigan.
Amber is a graduate of Michigan State University and earned an MPA from Grand Valley State University. She is based in metropolitan Detroit, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
