Dave Burdick

Dave supports local news initiatives through AJP’s Startup Studio by recruiting and onboarding editorial leaders and helping to develop sustainable newsroom strategies to best serve their communities.

He has worked in online-only startup newsrooms and established multiplatform local newsrooms. In addition to working at the Denver Post and Colorado Public Radio, Dave was the founding editor of Denverite, an online-only local news organization that serves the Denver metro area.

He grew up in Glendale, California, and the suburbs of Denver and has lived in Florida, Boston and New York.
