Your cryptocurrency donation helps the American Journalism Project work toward a future where every community has local journalism that represents, informs, and engages the diverse public it serves. The IRS classifies cryptocurrency as property, meaning donations to 501(c)(3) organizations receive the same tax treatment as gifts of stock.
